MFS Swing Clamp Cylinder

FUNCTION: Made of medium carbon steel, this is a hydraulic pull cylinder in which the total stroke is the sum of the swing stroke and the clamping stroke. APPLICATION: This hydraulic cylinder provides a large clamping force to a workpiece and yet does not occupy so much space as to interfere with the placing and removal of the workpiece. TYPE: Single-acting and double-acting. The single-acting cylinder has a smaller clamping force due to the spring load of the return stroke which has to be deducted. The double-acting cylinder piston is driven hydraulically in both directions. The swivel swing can be either clockwise or counterclockwise and the standard swing angle is 90 degrees. (0, 45, 60 degree swing also available). MAJOR SPECIFICATIONS: Normal operating pressure: 711 to 3,000 psi.
